Overnight Journey to Scotland

Depart the United States and fly through the night and wake in Edinburgh.

Day 2 - May 12th

Arrival Day in Edinburgh Airport

The Group will arrive at Edinburgh Airport this morning at 8:25am. Meet and greeted by their private driver and other guest in the arrival hall at 9:00 am.

Bus departs for Midhope Castle at 9:30 am. Visit Midhope Castle and The Kelpies before checking into the hotel.

Meals:

- Lunch stop in Bridge of Allan - 11:45 am.

- Dinner at The Radisson Blu Glasgow - 6:00 pm

Attractions:

- Midhope Castle - 10:15am

- The Kelpies - 3:15 pm.

*Depart for Glasgow at 4:00pm.

Accommodation:

The Radisson Blu, Glasgow City Center.

Day 3 - May 13th

Visit at Stirling Castle - 2:00 pm

Breakfast in the hotel at 9:00am before enjoying some leisure time to explore.

Guests will reconvene and board the bus to Stirling, departing at 11:00 am. Arrive in Stirling for lunch and leisure time at 12:00pm.

Meals - Breakfast in the hotel restaurant - 9:00am

*Depart Glasgow for Stirling at 11:00am

- Guests are on their own for dinner.

Attractions - Stirling Castle - 2:00 pm.

* Depart Stirling for Glasgow at 4:00pm.

Day 4 - May 14th

Experience Nevis Range - 12:00 pm

After breakfast at the hotel, the group will check out and depart Glasgow for Ben Nevis at 7:45 am. Upon arrival, the group will have a bag drop/check-in at The Alexandra Hotel before visiting the Nevis Range Mountain Gondola.

Meals - Breakfast and check out -7:00am.

*Depart Glasgow for Ben Nevis at 7:45am

  • Lunch and explore the town - 1:45pm

  • Dinner at The Alexandra Hotel - 6:30pm

Attractions - Nevis Range Gondola Ride - 12:00 pm.

*Depart for Fort William at 1:00pm.

Accommodations - Alexandra Hotel, Fort William.

Day 5 - May 15th

Visit at Eilean Donan Castle - 11:00 am/ Talisker Distillery - 3:30 pm

The group will check out of the hotel this morning and begin the drive to the Isle of Skye at 7:45am. Kick the day off with a visit to Eilean Donan Castle. Reconvene for a tour of the Isle of Skye, with lots of attractions along the way. Check-in at Balmacara hotel at 6:00pm.

Meals - Breakfast in the hotel restaurant - 7:00am

*Depart for Eilean Donan Castle at 7:45am

  • Lunch stops in Portree - 1:30pm. *Depart at 2:45pm.

  • Dinner at the Balmacara Hotel - 7:30pm.

Attractions :

- Eilean Donan Castle - 11:00 am.

*Depart for Portree at 12:00pm

*Depart Portree for Talisker Distillery at 2:45pm.

- Talisker Distillery - 3:30 pm

*Depart Talisker for Kyle of Lochalsh at 4:30pm

*Check into the Balmacara Hotel at 6:00pm

Day 6 - May 16th

Visit Culloden Battlefield-1:00pm / Uile Bheist Distillery - 5:00pm

This morning, the group will check out of the hotel and drive to Inverness. Upon arrival in Inverness, the group will visit Culloden Battlefield before checking into The River Ness Hotel. Visit Uile Bheist Whiskey Distillery in the evening.

Meals - Breakfast in the hotel restaurant - 8:30am.

*Depart for Culloden Battlefield at 9:30am

- Guests are on their own for dinner.

Attractions:

- Culloden Battlefield - 1:00 pm.

*Depart for inverness at 2:30pm.

- Uile Bheist Whiskey Distillery - 5:00pm

Day 7 - May 17th

Visit & Experience Cruise on Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle

After breakfast, the group will gather to begin a short walk to Inverness Castle at 10:00am. After the Castle, guests will depart at 12:15pm for the Clansman Hotel Harbour. Arrive at the Harbour to get on board the boat at 12:45pm before setting off on a drive to Loch Ness for a cruise around the famous lake, and the group will disembark at Urquhart Castle for a visit.

Meals - Breakfast in the hotel restaurant - 9:00am.

- Depart for Inverness, with a lunch stop on the way. - 2:15pm

*Recommend Loch Ness Inn for lunch as its only 1.5 miles away.

- Guests are on their own for dinner.

Attractions:

- Inverness Castle - 10:30am. *Picked up at 12:00pm.

- Cruise on Loch Ness - 1:00 pm, and Urquhart Castle (included with cruise).

* Meet the bus at Urquhart Castle at 2:00 pm

*Depart for Inverness from the lunch stop at 3:30pm

Day 8 - May 18th

Visit at Edinburgh Castle - 12:00 pm

The group will check out of the hotel and set off for Edinburgh at 8:00am. Upon arrival in Edinburgh, guests will visit Edinburgh Castle. The group will check into their city center hotel at 3:00pm and take an evening tour to explore Edinburgh’s dark past on a spooky evening tour.

Meals - Breakfast in the hotel restaurant - 7:00am.

*Check-out at 7:45am.

- Guests are on their own for dinner.

Attractions:

'- Edinburgh Castle - 12:00 pm - 2:30pm

*Stroll back to the Ibis Hotel to meet the bus and grab your luggage - 5 minute walk at 2:30pm.

- Edinburgh Ghost Tour - 4:00 pm - 5:15pm.

*Gather with the group and walk back to the hotel at 5:15pm.

Day 9 - May 19th

Visit at Dunfermline Scenic Tour

This morning, following breakfast, the group will set off for Dunfermline via the Firth to Forth bridges. Return to Edinburgh for lunch and enjoy the afternoon discovering Edinburgh on your own schedule.

Meals - Breakfast in the Ibis Hotel - 9:00am.

*Depart the Edinburgh for Dunfermline at 10:00am.

- Lunch in Dunfermline - 11:30am

*Recommend The Guildhall & Linen Exchange

- Guests are on their own for dinner

Attractions:

- Photo stop at South Queensferry, with views up the river. - 10:30am

- Dunfermline - 11:30 am.

*Board the bus and return to Edinburgh at 2:30pm

*Arrive back in Edinburgh - opportunity for some last-minute shopping at 3:30pm.

Day 10 - May 20th

The group will check out this morning and will be driven to Edinburgh Airport to catch a flight home.
