Our tour had a rocky start as we missed the Book of Kells segment of the tour because the bus was picking up a handful of late arrivals at the airport. It would have been better if the group had met at the host hotel. I identified this as a potential problem before the start of the tour with the tour operator. Because of an employee strike, one of our activities was canceled. I made the suggestion that we go to Bunratty Castle as an alternative, which we did. All of the other scheduled activities on the itinerary occurred without issue. We had to pay for admission to the Bog Village and Aran Islands bus tour. I felt that should have been covered by the tour operator since this was an expensive tour. All of the hotels and provided meals were excellent. The coach transportation was safe, comfortable and professional. The pace of activities seemed easy and everything occurred on time without any rush. Communications between the tour operator and participants could have been better and more frequent on the “What’s App”. Although I was concerned with how some issues were handled by the tour company and representatives, I would recommend Doc’s Tours to other potential customers.

Golf in Ireland, the courses, the resorts, the service is the best golf experience in the world. Doc’s and his team puts it all together to provide amazing Irish golf trips. Jessica and Doc provided non stop support during planning and during the trip. We’ll always turn to Doc’s for future group gold trips.

Overall, great trip.

Trip did not meet my expectations. A lot of opportunities for improvement. Itinerary was not well thought out. Uncertain why we played at North Berwick after traveling for nearly 24 hours. Getting off plane and playing 18 holes and then 36 holes the next day set everyone up for failure.. After first round did not get back to hotel until 9pm. We then had to leave by 6am next morning. Had to wake up at 5am. We were expected to pack all our things and move to another hotel as were scheduled to play 36 holes the next day. We should not have been booked at 3 hotels. I would have preferred to stay at St Andrew's and travel from there. Also did not get to play Old Course, which was huge disappointment. Our driver Gordon was a complete asshole. Our first interaction with him at airport he was scolding us for taking so long. Said it costs him money to park coach. Said "I'm losing money". Complained constantly. I wanted my clubs and travel bag. He said it was a hassle for him to unlock luggage compartment on coach. He then dumped all trash from coach in parking lot of our hotel at Pierceland. There were smashed chips and pretzels all over the place. I do not feel like I got the experience I paid for.

We had a great trip. The golf courses were great. The only negative to the trip was the hotel; The Temple Bar and Hotel. The noise from the back ally went on all night. If I did the trip again I would request a different hotel. Other than that, we had a great time. Thank you for setting up the trip for us. Sean
